The Sheriff's Office Dispatch Division is headed by Chastidy Brown. The Clay County Dispatch Division is a 24 hour facility handling Non-emergency calls and Emergency 911 calls and is dedicated to the safety of the citizens and visitors in our county.

The Dispatch Center provides response for County and Piggott Officers. As well as, Fire Departments for Piggott, Greenway, St. Francis, Pollard, McDougal, Knobel, Peach Orchard, and Success. We also dispatch First Responders for Piggott, McDougal, Pollard, Greenway, Knobel and Peach Orchard.

All Dispatchers are ACIC certified on different levels, FEMA certified, Rave Panic certified and a majority are ALETA certified.

All dispatchers on duty are responsible for answering incoming phone calls, handling radio communications with sheriff's duties and other officers in the field, entering and maintaining accurate records in the computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, handling all inquires and entries into the NCIC/ACIC system, and coordinating Sheriff's Office operations with other law enforcement agencies.

Ms. Brown maintains training and certifications for all dispatchers. She also trains all new hires. She also directly maintains all active warrants. She ensures that all are valid and correctly maintained in the Arkansas Crime Information Center, both felony and misdemeanor warrants.
