Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller reports:
On June 28th at approximately 7:00 pm Clay County Deputies conducted a routine traffic stop on County Road 447. Contact was made with the driver, James Garver- 47 years old of Qulin Missouri. Deputies ran Mr. Garver’s driving history and found he was suspended and on parole through the State of Arkansas. Mr. Garver was then placed under arrest for driving on suspended drivers license. Deputies at this time discovered a small plastic bag of white crystal substance in Mr. Garver's pants pocket. Mr. Garver was then transported to the Clay County Detention Center on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine less than 2 grams, Driving on suspended driver’s License, No proof of liability insurance, and Defective vehicle equipment.
